Maruba Resort Jungle Spa Belize, the only designer boutique hotel & Day Spa in the heart of the Mayan Rainforest of Belize, offers neo-primitive style combined with eclectic flair. One of the many hidden treasures in the world, near Altun Ha Maya Ruin. Maruba Jungle Spa is not your traditional day spa. In the heart of the Mayan Jungles of Belize, it offers the chance to live really immersed in nature. Our program was conceived by the owner, a physician, who believes in using natural herbal products and treatments to revitalize the body and rejuvenate the spirit. The products, which are used in our treatments, are all natural and produced at the spa from the surrounding Mayan Jungles. They are environmentally friendly. Our treatments specialize in using different Muds, which adds nutrients and detoxify the body, leaving the skin firm and soft. Exercise includes outdoor activities i.e. hiking, jogging, bicycling, swimming, nature walks, bird watching etc.
HOW TO GET HERE
Maruba Resort is easily accessible. We are located 1 hour north of Belize Phillip Goldson International Airport and 1 hour 15 minutes from Belize City Municipal Airport & Marine Terminal ; 10 miles north of Altun Ha (the most visited Maya Ruin in the country of Belize).
We are also 1 hour scenic boat ride from San Pedro, Ambergris Caye & Caye Caulker. We are 2 1/2 hours from the Mexican border if you are travelling from Mexico or Cancun.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Our Day Spa is open from 8 am to 8 pm. Advance reservations are requested & recommended for day spa. Walk - Ins are accepted. Bring along your sun block lotion and swimwear. On property, we have our Jungle Waterfall Pool & Japanese Mineral Bath (heated bath), full restaurant & bar, Hookah Lounge, Chess Table, Horseback Riding & Medicinal Jungle Hikes at your leisure.
Day Spa goers usually arrive 10 am and leave 4 pm. We also cater to day spa goers from San Pedro coming over on an Altun Ha Tour with a few hours to spare or you can use the Altun Ha or Lamanai boat as a transfer and we personally pick up in Bomba Village.
GETTING FROM SAN PEDRO TO MARUBA
Getting from San Pedro, Ambergris Caye or Caye Caulker is easy. We can arrange your transfer for you. It is a scenic 1 hour boat ride from the island to the resort; cross the sea into the Northern Lagoon and up the Orchid River where you can view the wildlife . You will dock in the small village of Bomba, which has a population of approximately 50. Bomba, as well as Maskall, is know for its Wood Carving. There are a few shop where you can select your choice wood carvings. A Maruba representative will be waiting in Bomba to bring you on the 15 minute drive north to the resort. You can also go on the tour to Altun Ha and visit the resort after your tour for nouveau jungle cuisine lunch & spa treatments. If you wish to come over to the resort via a tour, let us know and we will arrange it.

Day Spa Package includes a choice of any 2 Signature Spa Treatments (2 hour of spa time), Welcome Marubian Drink, Nouveau Jungle Cuisine, use of Jungle Waterfall Pool & Japanese Mineral Bath $162 per/person. Group Packages & Spa Bachelorette Packages Available. Spa a la Carte is a good option for jungle day trippers with limited time. Rooms also available from $99 per night.
